Here are the key boolean operators and how to use them in TalentBank.
AND
When you search a keyword with AND, such as Project Management AND Construction, you are instructing TalentBank to search for both of these skills in a candidate’s TalentBank profile.
OR
When you search a keyword with OR, such as Project Management OR Construction, you want to look for a candidate in TalentBank with either of the two skills.
NOT
By including NOT in your search query, such as Project Management NOT Construction, you are looking for candidate profiles with Project Management and blocking TalentBank from showing you people with Construction skills.
() Parenthesis
() is used to write complex search strings, such as Project Management OR Construction AND Senior. Applying brackets around your keyword, such as (Project Management OR Construction) AND Senior, means you want TalentBank results with a senior candidate who has either Project Management or Construction skills.
“ ” With Quotations
You are telling TalentBank to search for candidates who exactly match the words you place in the quotations such as “BIM Modeler”.
