Christopher Paye General Manager of Jobs.ie says;
“Our analysis of our jobs data highlights the impact of the loosening of restrictions over July, August and September. Job vacancies increased as employers sought out new hires which is a testament to the energy, commitment, and determination of everyone working in these sectors. There is no doubt that the decision to implement a second lockdown came as a blow to many businesses. However, the fortitude and resilience we witnessed earlier in the pandemic will go a long way to ensuring companies successfully reopen in December and hopefully we can all look forward to a less turbulent economic environment in 2021.”
