Located in the heart of Eyre Square and part of the historic fabric of Galway City since 1850, The Skeff Late Bar & Kitchen is an entertainment institution. We are part of every night out in Galway. There’s no question that we don’t take this responsibility seriously and have developed a broad product range to reflect the eclectic mix of our customer-base.

Boasting six bars over five floors, the décor reflects The Skeff’s history but also brings it to life in the 21st century.  With just under 10,000 square feet we are the largest bar in Galway city centre. 

We maximise the use of space by creating distinct areas namely, Eyre Cocktail Bar on floor five, The Skeff Kitchen on Floor four, our sports bar with our 10-foot screen on floor three with plans to add in a 50-gold medal winning gins including a selection a Irish gins live music on floor two and The Vault Whiskey Bar on floor one.

For the whiskey palate we have The Vault, our dedicated whiskey bar boasting over 200 whiskeys; for ladies with great taste we have Eyre Cocktail Bar; for sports fanatics we are always match-ready with a full sports listing on our nine HD screens; for those who are celebrating a special occasion The Skeff is a favourite for parties; meanwhile if you are a family or couple looking for great food you get to enjoy Homemade @ The Skeff – we use local produce, cook favourite homemade dishes that start with 8am breakfast and ends at 9.30pm for dinner.  

A full lunch service ensures workers and shoppers alike can quickly enjoy their lunch hour with little stress.
