Job Description
The candidate will thrive in a busy kitchen, be a quick learner and enjoy the challenge of constantly evolving ideas and working on different menus.
Candidates must have fluent English and must have at least 4 year's experience working as a chef de partie in a kitchen. Please do not apply if you do not have the required experience!
Duties:
- Ensure that prep levels are met at all times
- Communicate to Head Chef on a regular basis your progress in the position and any need for further training if required
- Work in a busy team oriented work environment and learn from the rest fo the team
- Keep aware of trends, practices and equipment in F&B presentation and service in the industry through trade literature and competition check.
- Make a pre-meal check of all facilities, mise-en-place and setting
- Ensure that regular sanitation checks are carried out
- Ensure compliance with HACCP regulations at all times
- Confer with the Head Chef and other team members on daily activities
- Ability to remain calm and courteous in demanding/difficult situations
- Perform other duties as required
Candidates must have
- At least 4 years similar experience in restaurant environment
- Ability to exceed customers expectations
- Be a real team player
- Excellent presentation
- Fluency in written and spoken English
