Experienced Head Chef required for busy boutique hotel in Athenry Co Galway.  

 Responsibilities:

• Maintaining consistently high standards with food and ability to change and create menus
• Overseeing the budget and maintaining agreed targets
• Excellent knowledge of HACCP and ability to ensure the same among all staff
• Manage lead and motivate the kitchen team
• Previous ordering and costing experience
• Maintain hygiene and cleanliness standards
• Stock control and food handling

 The ideal candidate will have:

• At least 2 years’ experience as a Head Chef
• Have a genuine passion for food and the hospitality industry.
• Have excellent communication skills with a fluency in spoken and written English.
• Ensure a professional and courteous service
• Food is delivered in accordance with agreed standards
• Work well under pressure and on their own initiative
• Highly motivated, hardworking and flexible
