Job Description

In Business for over 35 years, Carrolls Irish Gifts has steadily grown to become one of the leading retailers of quality fashion, souvenirs, gifts and jewellery in Ireland. As we continue to expand our operations we require a Store Manager to join our management team. 

THE ROLE:

Reporting to the Retail Area Manager and leading your team, you will be responsible for sales, service and ensuring a top class customer experience. Responsibilities include:

  • Owning the day to day running of a fast paced, high volume store to deliver the store KPIs including sales, stock, audits and mystery shops etc.
  • Leading and motivating the team to ensure that the store KPI’s are consistently delivered
  • Ensuring that all customers receive a superior customer experience in your store.
  • Reaching and exceeding sales targets. Communicating targets on a daily basis and ensuring that all team members are trained and motivated to reach    and exceed them
  • Maintaining excellent visual merchandising and store standards including working directly with suppliers to ensure adequate stock level.
  • Organising and prioritising daily tasks, optimising resources and minimising costs
  • Developing your team by acting a as a role model and coach
  • Managing day to day operations and administration and ensuring follow up and follow through on all store commitments.
  • Ensuring all company guidelines, procedures and policies including security, health and safety, cash and loss prevention are implemented and adhered      to.

 

 THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • High energy individual with a minimum of 4 years management experience in the retail sector.
  • Previous experience in a leadership role with an ability to coach and develop a team of sales people.
  • Passionate about delivering customer experience
  • Flexible with an ability to multitask and work well under pressure
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Computer literate
  • Self-motivated, inspire your team to work well as a team leading by example and consistently deliver outstanding results.
  • Ability to maximise profitability and have in-depth experience in preparing and analysing reports & figures.
  • Organised and tenacious
