Job Description

 

Part Time:    Monday-Friday

Shift:            6.0 Hour Day

 

Summary of Position


The individual is responsible for performing a full range of diversified sales and administrative functions

 

Such responsibilities shall include (but not limited to)

 

Process incoming sales orders and provide quotations to customers in an efficient manner

Customer & Supplier Support: You will be one of the main point of contact for all incoming customer & supplier calls.

Work closely with Senior Managers and Field Sales Team

Delivery Management: Liaise with relevant personnel on deliveries to ensure orders despatched in a timely manner and advise customers of shortages and delivery days.

Prepare price lists, organise samples, brochures, and other company documentation as required.

Develop, organise and manage product or industry specific marketing campaigns.

Update website where applicable

Prepare quote for STEICO Joists using relevant STEICO software

Stock Control

  • Report on Item Stock Levels
  • Report on goods inwards
  • Process item ledger journals
  • Process item variant journals

Sales Invoice & credit management

  • Review shipped Sales Orders for customer orders & price validity
  • Process shipped Sales orders into Sales invoices
  • Investigate and process requests credit and returned goods
  • Send Sales invoices & Credit Notes on a regular basis to customers
  • Upload and submit Sales Invoice to EDI portal

Purchase Order Processing & Control

  • Raise Purchase Orders All Goods
  • Code & Import Timber Orders
  • Process Timber documents for Reprocessing Centre
  • Transfer goods from within internal depots
  • Receive and invoice purchase orders
  • Process general purchase invoice

Maintain document control in line with relevant industry & statutory standards for

  • EU Timber Regulation  (EUTR)
  • Construction Products Regulation (CPR)
  • Responsible Purchasing Policy (RPP)
  • Forest Stewardship Council (FSC)
  • Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC)

General Office Administration

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE:

  • Ability to prioritise, manage own workload and ensure targets achieved.
    Ability to work on own initiative.
  • Ability to build effective relationships in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Customer focused, people orientated and be able to deliver exceptional customer service.
    Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Navision and strong Excel Skills an advantage.
  • Knowledge of building products in the B2B sector (Sheet Material and Timber)
  • Knowledge of ISO systems an advantage.
  • Fluency in English is essential.
