now has an excellent opportunity available for a

Mixologist

 to join our Sidecar Bar team.

Purpose:
To maximise guest satisfaction by ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the bar operations.  Ensure that all guests are warmly welcomed, that orders are taken efficiently and that the service provided is of a consistently high standard.

 Key Responsibilities:

Ensure a professional, friendly and courteous service to all guests.
To ensure that guests are warmly welcomed in the bar and that orders are taken efficiently.
To upsell beverage by guest interaction and ensuring a great atmosphere is created in the bar.
To promote and create innovative cocktails and special promotions. 
To always be familiar with product offering (i.e. the menu, beverages on offer, wine list, etc).
To ensure that all Food and Beverage products are served efficiently and in accordance with the Company standard of presentation.
To ensure the restaurant, bar and all Food & Beverage outlets are properly prepared and set-up prior to and after service.
To carry out cash handling procedures in accordance with Company policy
To assist with stocktaking duties when required.
 

The ideal candidate for this position:

Must be courteous and focused on providing a consistently high standard of customer service
Must be standards driven and detail-orientated
Must have the ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment
Must be flexible with regards to hours
Must have a good command of the English Language
Must have excellent self-presentation
Have previous experience in similar luxury establishment
Strong beverage knowledge
Must have previously participated in industry cocktail competitions
