My partner is a large FMCG company based in north Dublin employing over 500 people and with an annual turnover over of 450 million. Due to a period of rapid growth and expansion the company are looking for a Financial Analyst to join their finance team. The role:

Responsible for Group Stock Valuation Reporting 
Ensure integrity and accuracy of the stock management system through weekly Stock Reconciliations
Maintain Weekly Stock Performance Deck
Month End Reconciliation of Inventory Stock Loss account – Root Cause Variances
Assist in the development of processes & procedures around stock control
Execute stock control measures to ensure the company minimizes stock Loss and maximizes stock system and paperwork accuracy
Act as a conduit between Warehouse, Demand Planning and Finance to provide insight on Stock across the group
Communicate with manager providing up to date and accurate stock information
Be responsible for managing and running planned stock takes
Perform cyclic stock checks – Audit Control
Manage control measures to ensure mistakes, inaccuracies and discrepancies are highlighted, addressed and resolved – Drive controls
 

The Person:

Newly or Part Qualified desirable
Previous Experience in a Cost Accounting, Stock Control Role
Industry Experience preferably in FMCG, Logistics or distribution essential
Strong commercial acumen with experience of financial and sales analysis
Advanced Excel skills are essential
SAP and AX experience an advantage
Ability to effectively communicate up, across and down the organisation across multiple disciplines including operations, field sales, promotional & marketing and commercial teams as well as externally with customers and principals
Analytical with a strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
