The Company 

IDG Direct is a dynamic and fast-growing research and telemarketing company, providing demand generation services to the IT industry. The operation currently employs 250+ multilingual agents, and continues to grow. Our telemarketing agents make 5.2 million research and telemarketing calls per month to over 120 countries. 

The successful applicant will be:

• Representing and branding IDG services by making professional outgoing calls to prospective clients.
• Involved in research and building customer’s interests in the services, and products available.
• Engaging the client on calls to share information and conducting surveys will also be a key part of your role.
• Gathering and recording accurate client details, and maintaining/updating/completing databases as new information is gathered.
• Responsible for completing thorough updates and hand-overs with team members/team leaders and contributing to projects, and process improvements.

The ideal candidate will meet the following selection criteria:

• A business level of verbal and written French is mandatory
• Additional languages an advantage 
• Have a strong Leaving Certificate, or equivalent
• Proven experience working with Microsoft Office package i.e. Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Have excellent phone etiquette with clear, and confident communication skills
• Be a team player to strive for a common goal
• Self motivated, who enjoys working in a target driven environment
• Have a high level of initiative and multi-tasking ability
• Excellent verbal and written English is a must
