We are currently recruiting a Bar Manager to join our Management Team.
Responsibilities will include:
- Responsible for the smooth running of our busy Wheat Bar & Bistro & the Bars in our Banqueting Department in accordance with 4 star standards and company procedures and legislation.
- To manage and develop the Bar Team to deliver excellent Customer Service & 4 star standards.
- The management of ordering, stock control and cash handling to ensure the Department is maximising revenue and performing in line with budgets.
- To work with the Sales & Management team to identify opportunities to grow sales.
- To cover Duty Management shifts.
- To be able to demonstrate the highest level of courteous and efficient service.
- Have an understanding of all SOP's and delivery within the Bar/Beverage Department. Particular understanding of cocktails and Spirit innovations.
- Work with the Kitchen team to ensure smooth efficient service of food to the Bar/Bistro, enhancing our food reputation and guest satisfaction.
- Participate in Management meetings and conduct departmental meetings to ensure smooth communication.
- The ability to lead, train and motivate the Food and Beverage Team is essential.
The Ideal Candidate will have:
- 2-3 years Management experience in a busy 4 star hotel Environment.
- Hotel & Catering Qualifications / Management Qualifications advantageous.
- Leadership qualities.
- Previous training experience and the ability to manage & motivate a team in a busy fast paced environment.
- Financial awareness with the ability to manage costs and control stock.
Candidates must be able to work legally in Ireland on a full time basis.
