Salary up to €30,000
JOB PURPOSE: Day to day running of the production area to ensure customer orders are maintained to BRC Food Safety Standards in line with company policy
•Create, maintain implement, understand and assist weekly production schedule and the monitoring of daily operation.
•Coordinate and plan production priorities around the production schedule while ensuring production volume is delivered on time
•Monitor production runs on a daily basis
•Coordinate staff holidays and weekly days off in line with company policy
•Oversee labour cost control.
•Hold daily stand up team meetings communicating daily plan. Review and close out outstanding issues.
•Assist and coordinate procurement milk volumes
•Participate in Health & safety, and environmental programs ensuring health and safety standards are adhered to at all times.
•Monitor use and ensure stock is available of process chemicals and supplies and re order when necessary through the relevant channels.
•Monitor use of machinery spare parts and supplies and re orders when necessary in consultation with Engineering Manager.
•Ensure SOP’s are in place and staff are trained accordingly in line with company standards.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
•Minimum of 2 years’ experience
•High level of computer skills
•PLC knowledge an advantage
•Flexible working hours
•Experience of managing a team an advantage.
