Due to new business wins; we have a fantastic opportunity for a senior event manager, with global project management experience to join our growing operations team. We have events operating for top blue chip global organisations from San Francisco to Kuala Lumpur and everywhere in between, so this vacancy offers the right candidate the opportunity to deliver varied corporate events in a global landscape.

This role requires pro-actively and re-actively managing the event projects assigned to you within the event operations function of the business. Pro-active and re-active management of the registration and delegate services function of the business is also an incremental part of this role including the below key tasks:



  • Project manage events including; development, production and delivery of projects from proposal to delivery to reconciliation

  • Delivering profitable events on time, within budget, and that meet and exceed client expectations

  • Managing supplier relationships

  • Managing client relationships

  • Global travel for client meetings, site inspections, and live event delivery

  • Contribute to weekly team report

  • Manage the event follow up and account management on all FSEM files assigned to you, to ensure client rebooks within the network for future events


  • Working alongside and overseeing an Event Executive on each project in the following areas:

    • During the build and design of new and existing registration portals and registration home sites

    • Processing and managing delegate payments online and offline

    • Handling large volumes of delegate queries per event

    • Reconciling registration payments in a timely and efficient manner


  • Work within agreed framework for financial management, ensuring event cost sheets and event running orders are up to date

  • Ensuring a minimum profit per file

  • Ensure files are reconciled in a timely manner


  • Pro-actively manage an account management plan for designated accounts, to ensure accounts are maintained in an efficient manner

  • Conduct regular account reviews with key clients


  • Fluency in written and spoken English

  • Have a minimum 3 years’ experience in an event operations capacity in an event management company, corporate company or hotel event management role

  • Knowledge of the global corporate conference landscape and experience in same

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office package, particularly PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook

  • Have a high level of computer/IT literacy

  • Be educated to a minimum of degree level

  • Have strong attention to detail with an eye for execution

  • Excellent finance and budgetary skills

  • Show a natural proactive approach to achieving deadlines

  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills

  • Is a natural team player capable of inspiring confidence in both clients and their team colleagues

  • Experience with registration systems/other systems (eTouches/Event Pro/WordPress or similar) is desirable but not essential as training will be provided
