This one day course seeks to make sport safer through improving the first aid knowledge and skills of people involved in sport and exercise.
The course covers basic first aid with an emphasis on sports related injuries, tailored for your sport which has been endorsed by a number of Sporting Bodies.
The recognition, assessment, and immediate on-site management of sports injuries are crucial to facilitate rehabilitation and to minimise further risk of harm to the participants. This programme, for coaches, instructors, teachers, supervisors, sports assistants, and volunteers, teaches the assessment and management of a wide variety of sports injuries. Importantly, participants will also know how to recognise when professional medical assistance is required.
