Project Management Course Objectives
This Project Management certification course prepares you to successfully pass the rigorous Project Management Professional (PMP)® Project Management Professional tests. The PMI course also prepares entry level project managers for the CAPM® - Certified Associate Project Management tests. Applicants who wish to apply for the Project Management Professional (PMP)® test must have more than 3 years PM experience. If you don’t have 3 years PM experience and are a newcomer, you will be eligible to apply for the CAPM® Certified Associate Project Management test.
This Project Management course provides instant credibility in terms of your project management skills, including your understanding of and competence in the Project Management Institute, A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide) – Fourth Edition, Project Management Institute, Inc., 2008 framework. Areas covered include the planning process, techniques for estimating durations and project schedules, allocation of resources, cost management & control, risk and response strategies.
After successful completion of a final end of course PMI test which is composed of a combination of theory and real-life examples, participants will be eligible for the PMP® or CAPM ® qualification (USA).
To enhance the practical aspect of the Project Management course, you will have the option to apply real PMI project management tools to a project and a test. The project and test will lead to a FETAC level 6 component award in Project Management .
