STAGE TWO: PG Diploma
Postgraduate Diploma in International Business Management (NTU/HETAC)
The PG Diploma requires completion of the five PG Certificate modules in addition to the following six modules which focus on advancing in students a deep critical understanding of a range of specialist business disciplines:

• International Financial Management
  (GDIB-IFM – 12 credits)
  Explores the critical elements of financial decision- making and the application of techniques in the employment and management of financial resources in a complex international environment.
• International Operations Management
  (GDIB-IOM – 12 credits)
  Analysis of the significance of efficient management of global operations in achieving business strategy, and the central role played by the underlying processes, functions and techniques.
• Corporate Responsibility: The Legal and Regulatory Environment
  (GDIB-CR – 12 credits)
  Examines the impact of legal, regulatory and ethical constraints on international business, the role of the stakeholder and changing systems of social and moral values in business leadership.
• Global Business Development and Entrepreneurship
  (GDIB-DE - 12 credits)
  Examines the dynamic processes underlying start-up ventures and both intrapreneurial and entrepreneurial initiatives from an international perspective supporting students as they complete their own business development plans.
• Business Development Plan
  (GDIB-BP – 6 credits)
  A highly interactive hands-on entrepreneurial project to create a viable business plan in conjunction with the completion of the Global Business Development and Entrepreneurship module.
• Business Research Methods
  (GDIB-RM – 6 credits)
  Focuses on value of research in business analysis and decision-making, and delivers a practical course in the essential techniques and methodologies to support any business research project.

Note: The Postgraduate Diploma comprises the first two stages of the MSc/MBA programme, and carries a total of 120 credits at M level, 60 of which are gained from the PG Certificate with a further 60 gained through completion of the above six modules.
 

Award Postgraduate Diplom in International Business Management jointly awarded by Nottingham Trent University and HETAC.

Equivalent experience or Stage One of our programmes the Postgraduate Certificate in International Business Management

Progression
Progression would be on to Stage Three of our programme..
