This course will enable you to learn how to become a professional Pet Groomer. It will show you how to channel your love of dogs and other pets into a rewarding career or hobby. Grooming dogs and cats is a very positive thing to do as regular pet grooming promotes healthier skin and coats as well as contributing to the pet’s general well being. You will learn about the different breeds and about the grooming techniques required in approaching the different types.

Dog groomers keep dogs in good condition by washing, brushing, clipping and scissoring their coats and nails. This is followed by shampooing, rinsing and drying the dog. This course teaches you all about the anatomy of dogs and enables you to learn the skills required to put dogs at their ease making grooming easier as the dog will be more relaxed and comfortable.
