Medical Terminology Course



The medical profession is one of the most rewarding industries to work in – it is also very unique.

Comprising 15 comprehensive and interactive lessons, this course has been developed to help you get under the skin of commonly used medical terminology across a wide range of disciplines including biology, cardiology, psychology and many more. You will be guided through each speciality step-by-step and learn how seemingly complicated medical jargon is built up from word roots, prefixes and suffixes, so this language becomes second nature to you.

This Medical Terminology course is also recognised by AMSPAR (The Association of Medical Secretaries, Practice Managers, Administrators and Receptionists) and mapped to the City and Guilds Level 2 Award syllabus in Medical Terminology. AMSPAR see real value in the content of this specialised training programme. The course is designed with many careers in mind, including medical administrators, pharmacy/lab technicians, pharmaceutical reps and other associated professions
