The University of Wales MBA programme draws students from a range of backgrounds who all share the common goal of wanting to improve as managers / aspiring managers. Through studying the MBA programme many students have greatly enhanced their career prospects as managers and senior managers across a variety of industries in both private and public sectors.
The vast majority of assessment is coursework-based. An assignment is typically contextualised in a real world organisation which has real world business problems to solve.
The MBA is designed to offer a comprehensive exposure to business with opportunities to develop specialist knowledge and personal skills. The MBA blends the theoretical and practical; with the practical side being explored through the extensive use of case studies, live projects linked to businesses, students’ workplaces and via an internship opportunity to undertake work based learning.
