This Level 8 Bachelor of Arts Business degree (Hons.) has been devised to include subjects that support best international business, finance and management practice. The business course will provide students with a unique insight into the fundamental knowledge required and challenges associated with doing business internationally. It provides a deep understanding of international business whilst continuing to develop practical skills in functional areas such as Finance, Accounting, HRM & Marketing. Central to the course is the application and enhancement of knowledge, skills, competences and insights by bringing together learned functional skills and developing an integrated business systems perspective.
Graduates with a Bachelor of Business Degree (Hons.) may be entitled to exemptions from the leading Professional Accountancy Bodies including ACA & ACCA. Graduates from this business course can expect to be accepted onto a wide range of Masters courses in Universities and Colleges across the globe including IBAT College's MBA programme.
Progression
This course has been designed in consultation with HETAC, the Higher Education & Training Awards Council, to provide a pathway for students to further professional qualifications such as progression to Masters Degrees (HETAC Level 9) or directly into employment. HETAC is the qualifications awarding body for third-level educational and training institutions outside the university sector in Ireland. This course is designed to offer students progression from the Level 6 Higher Certificate in Business.
