We have a range of Consultancy and Training services based on the only global standard in carbon management ISO 14064 and the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) protocol.
 
Greenhouse Gas Validation
 
This course builds on CSA ISO 14064-2 Essentials - GHG Projects course and provides detailed training on the approach to validation using the ISO 14064-3 standard. Material covered in the course includes:
  • Assessing your own competencies to conduct the verification
  • Establishing the verification scope, objectives, criteria and level of assurance with the client
  • Establishing a materiality threshold for the verification
  • Assessing the risks involved in a verification
  • Developing a verification plan, including a sampling plan
  • Assessing GHG information systems and controls
  • Assessing the GHG documentation, data, information and emission reduction or removal estimates or measurements for the project
  • Evaluating the GHG assertion against the agreed-upon verification criteria
  • Issuing the verification statement, including any limitations that may be put on the statement
  • Keeping records and addressing facts discovered after the verification
