The entry requirements to the EDI / JEB Teachers' Diploma ICTS are: students are required to have ECDL or equivalent standard.  Mature applicants with relevant work experience are eligible.  Candidates must be 20 years of age on the final assessment date.

Teachers with H Dip Ed or B Ed are eligible for exemption from Education Principles and Practice (EPP).

The Certificate in Education Principles and Practice is designed to provide students from a non-teaching background with the skills necessary to effectively teach IT and computing skills.

In this area students will gain an appreciation of the ICT development and manage ICT learning resources.   They will develop teaching and learning materials for selected applications.

EDI / JEB - Applied Principles of ICT Education
Developing a Teaching Project to include a training needs analysis, a scheme of work, lesson plans and teaching materials/resources.  Presentation of lessons during teaching practice sessions.
