This course is ideally suited for individuals seeking to enhance their interview skills and CV to gain employment. Detailed practical advice on job applications and CV Preparation will be explored so that you can find the right job for you. It is important to give a good presentation of yourself, since the CV is often the first impression you give to a prospective employer. Practical interview exercises will be carried out to increase your confidence so that you have the best possible chance to succeed at the interview.
Course Aims & Objectives
This course allows you the opportunity to practice and improve your Interview Skills through recorded interviews. Recorded interviews are assessed by you and your tutor so that you can increase your performance and advance your presentation. Adequate preparation before the interview will be explored so that you will have a clear understanding of what you are going to say and what questions you will ask. Preparation should include research on the organization and the job on offer. You need to be prepared to answer typical job interview questions, and to use these as openings to present your skills and experience in the best light. Ways to handle different interview scenarios and psychometric tests will also be examined.

Methodology
The principal method of learning is through notes, exercises, activities and recorded role-play. Assessment of mock recorded interviews will be a major part of this course.
Course Duration & Cost
This course is run over a half day and costs 390.00 Euro. Includes assessment of your skills and CV Preparation. This course takes place at CMI.
