This Internationally recognised Close Protection Programme is City & Guilds approved and meets
mandatory requirements for SIA UK licensing in Close Protection. The programme objective is to provide the learner with all the necessary best practices to work as a Close Protection Operative. Our Close Protection programme provides successful graduates with not only the skills but also the correct methodologies and decision processes when working a protective detail.
Incorporated into this Close Protection Programme is a bespoke Close Protection Medic module designed specially by CP operatives who are frontline Paramedics. The faculty of trainers are highly trained and internationally experienced Close Protection practitioners. Their operational expertise ranges from military, security risk management and emergency service backgrounds.
This programme which is 184 hours in duration and covers the practical skills and underpinning knowledge required for a Close Protection Operative working within a close protection environment.
The methodology behind the programme is to train and prepare the Close Protection Operative to deal with all eventualities from security of the principle to dealing with medical emergencies. Participants will learn a high level of practical skill and theoretical knowledge, so that they can deal competently with situations that may arise in a Close Protection environment.
Successful graduates of this programme will be certified to the following internationally recognised standard.
CLOSE PROTECTION CITY & GUILDS LEVEL 3
CP MEDIC OFA FETAC LEVEL 5
PHECC CARDIAC FIRST RESPONDER
IHF BASIC LIFE SUPPORT PROVIDER
On completion of the programme the candidates will complete a 48 hour exercise. In addition a GOAL examination will be conducted to verify learner retention of the key earning outcomes, Written and practical assessment of all medical skills will be carried out to ensure competency.
