About the Course
ACCA have introduced a new suite of courses called Foundations in Accountancy. The CAT technician programme forms part of this suite but there are other qualifications on offer as well allowing students a choice of start and finishing points.
· Introductory Certificate in Financial & Management Accounting
· Intermediate Certificate in Financial & Management Accounting
· Diploma in Accounting and Business
· Certified Accounting Technician
Previous examinations and experience such as Leaving Certificate, 3rd level qualifications or relevant work experience may entitle you to exemptions from certain examinations. Exemptions must be confirmed in writing by ACCA, a copy of which must be given to the college. The onus is on the student to ensure that they have the relevant qualification or exemptions.
