This programme provides an opportunity for administrative and technical staff working in local authorities to gain a thorough understanding of the local government system in Ireland. It is regarded as a key element in the development of staff and is delivered by a team of experienced practitioners from the local government system.

This Certificate is ideally suited to:

• Staff of all disciplines, technical, administrative, indoor and outdoor, working in the local government system
• Those working for some time in local government who feel they need to broaden their understanding of an ever changing and dynamic local government system
