This programme focuses on the core competencies required by progressive human resources professionals. The context of HR in the business and business partnering is a key theme, alongside sound knowledge of employment law and implementation; recruitment & selection and performance management.
Who is the Programme for?
This new and updated CIPD programme is especially useful for those wishing to develop a HR career as CIPD qualifications are frequently required by employers seeking to hire HR professionals. It will also benefit a wide range of managers who need HRM skills to perform effectively.

Entry Requirements
This programme is designed to appeal to those at work or seeking to change career into human resources. There are no specific academic requirements with applicants considered based on relevant work and other experience.
Award
All CIPD qualifications equate to level 5 on the Qualifications & Credit Framework (QCF) in England, Wales & Northern Ireland. This level is equivalent to Level 7 on the Irish National Framework of Qualifications (NQF). Programmes can lead to module exemptions from the BA in Human Resource Management at National College of Ireland. This course, formerly CIPD Certificate in Personnel Practice, has been upgraded.

The qualification reflects the new CIPD professional standards and membership criteria. Successful completion will provide you with the knowledge required to work toward the new CIPD Associate professional level of membership (Assoc CIPD)
