About the Course
This programme is designed to provide students with a broad theoretical and practical preparation for careers in a variety of business situations, in particular in the marketing area. Students will be equipped with the knowledge, skills and attitudes in business and marketing disciplines, which will form the basis for personal and professional development. This course is delivered by a combination of lectures and work-related practical assignments. Lecturers aim to encourage discussion, both team work and individual contributions are encouraged.
Careers/Progression
Graduates will typically find employment in Marketing, Sales, Management, Customer Service, Banking and Insurance. Alternatively on successful completion of this course students may elect to transfer to the final year of GCD’s BA (Hons) in Business Studies (Level 8). For those wishing to advance their studies on completion of the Honours programme in Business Studies, they then progress directly to Masters related programmes in Griffith College Dublin or external institutions.
