In the early 1990’s, NCPS (then ‘NationwideClamping’),
introduced private traffic management and clamping to Ireland. With the
appointment of Jason Ballard as MD in 2000, NCPS grew rapidly, and today is the
market leader, with a multi-million euro turnover. Employing 120 staff, split
80-40 in favour of security personnel, and with cross training in place, we are
always able to provide continuity of service.
Currently NCPS manage and lease/rent car parks or individual car spaces, provide enforcement services through wheel clamping, supply parking equipment for all access controls either paid or for free and provide auxiliary services in-house such as line marking, bollards, ramps etc. and through our security division “Securit” we supply guarding services.
At last count we had possession of over 300 car parks in the greater Dublin area – an excess of 27,000 parking spaces. These locations are patrolled 24/7 by our enforcement vehicles and personnel or are monitored by our static Customer Service Agents. Our vans are controlled from our call centre by radio, and are fitted with a GPS tracking system ensuring a fast, efficient response should a situation occur.
Pay and Display parking is a particular strength of NCPS and is a real growth are in smaller surface car parks. With the lower of investment, good audit control and with the synergies of our roaming enforcement patrols this makes for a profitable and well managed facility for both your business and NCPS.
With car ownership continually increasing, the demand for parking will inevitably increase to reflect the demand, impacting on the public and private parking places. To cope with this, NCPS foresee the expansion of all over services to meet demands including, enforcement, paid car parks, maintenance works and security requirements. Demand for prime and convenient parking locations will come at a premium therefore the future growth of NCPS looks positive.
To maintain our excellent customer service levels and to cope with the ever increasing levels of traffic control required within modern day Ireland, we are committed to investing internally in quality and service. With our flexible and adaptable approach we are sure we will continue to enjoy the same level of expansion we have experienced to date. We are also well on the way to obtaining out security license that’s will be required for the new Security Licensing Laws which will be implemented in October.
In line with the new security licensing laws we have been recently awarded the ISO999:2004 accreditation for man guarding services from the NSAI.
