Our principal aims haven't changed much over the years; 'to serve
great, fresh and nutritious food in an elegant, yet simple environment. To provide
a helpful, friendly service and value for money' this is our ethos -
our aim at wagamama for now and in the future. Change for us is in the form of continuous
improvement. before the restaurant opens, the cleaning schedule has to be completed,
bars re-stocked and the tables set up for service the doors open to the public at
noon and then it's non-stop straight through until last orders once customers are
seated and ready, their order is taken by waiting staff who punch it into hand-held,
electronic order pads.
The order is then transmitted to the appropriate station in the kitchen where each
dish is cooked to order then served immediately main courses, side orders and drinks
are ordered at the same time but, unlike conventional restaurants, delivered to
your table as soon as they have been prepared as the day draws to an end, each restaurant
will have served more than 125 kilos of noodles to over one thousand wagamama customers.
